In 2026 and 2027, David Groß is touring German-speaking Europe with two live shows and around 30 performances.
His shows combine adventure, travel reportage, food and humour in a distinctive form of storytelling.

Using a rubbish bin as a kitchen and a Land Rover powered by used cooking oil, chef and filmmaker David Groß travels across Europe and all the way to Japan. He cooks with food that others throw away, meets extraordinary people and discovers that sustainability can be truly enjoyable – and that sometimes the greatest happiness can be found in a bin.

Filmmaker, chef and adventurer David Groß travels 2,000 kilometres across Japan with his mobile kitchen. Along the way, he discovers a land of contradictions beyond the postcard images – full of curious encounters, surprising stories and a love story in which the way to the heart really is through the stomach.
